First LX80 and LX800 telescopes arrived

The first mounts and telescopes of the brand new series LX80 and LX800 have arrived. We will thoroughly test them the coming days (and of course nights) to provide you with first hand info and technical detail.
We will show both items on ATT fair in Essen on May 5th, 2012. Both series feature a lot of well-thought detail and improvements:
The LX80 is a extremely versatile mount: Use it in equatorial or azimutal mode: the latter even with two OTAs!
With the LX800 series, the much appraised ACF f/8 optics are back - now with shifting-free internal focusing system. Combined with the Meade StarLock these telescopes are ease to use and provide precise guiding - the perfect system for astrophotography!
